Meet the Romans in Meerssen and Valkenburg. Will you walk or cycle with us on Sunday 18 May from 12.00-17.00 from Meerssen station to Valkenburg Schin op Geul station? 

You will be regaled with Roman facts on a 13.5-kilometre tour: where was the Roman road? Is the largest Roman villa in the Netherlands located in Meerssen? And much more. 

Along the way, you will meet special characters: a Roman cook, a cheese maker, a priest, a Roman army camp and a Roman guard. 

Entrepreneurs (Connect5 and Mayor Quicx) and the museums (Museum Valkenburg and the Roman Catacombs) also participate. They will pamper you with delicacies and extra activities.
